Established in 1969 by the Sydney business community, MGSM was one of the first Australian business schools created with the purpose of providing rigorous postgraduate education for managers and executives. MGSM’s main campus is located within the grounds of Macquarie University, one of Australia’s leading universities. Students are also given the opportunity to study in the recently opened CBD campus as well as the Hong Kong campus. MGSM MBA Program Structure
There are 16 subjects that students need to be complete for this course. Through 10 carefully selected core units, you’ll learn how to be an effective manager. These units expose you to different general management perspectives and give you the expertise you need to engage in solving contemporary management issues.

MGSM MBA Program Details
The program was designed to suit the needs of working professionals and their family, work, social and other commitments. Having the flexibility to take on either 1 or 2 subjects a term allows you to complete the MBA program at your own pace. Each subject involves 40 contact hours over a 10-week term. There are four terms per year. You have the option to study at the North Ryde, Sydney CBD, or the Hong Kong campuses.
MGSM MBA Entry Requirements
The program requirements for direct entry into the MBA program are minimum of three years’ relevant work experience at a managerial or professional level, an undergraduate degree from a recognized university that is equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 5.00 (out of 7.00), and a demonstrated proficiency in English for International students
Experienced managers/professionals who do not have an undergraduate degree or did not obtain the required GPA can gain entry into the MBA by completing the graduate certificate or graduate diploma. To be eligible, however, applicants need a minimum of five years of managerial or professional work experience.
MGSM MBA Fees*
For 2019 it will cost $5,000 per course unit, with 16 in units in total to complete the program. The final indicative cost is $80,000 for domestic and international students.
