The University of the Sunshine Coast MBA program covers the latest trends and influences in business and builds on your skills in critical thinking and analysis. The degree can be completed in 1.5 years full time or part-time equivalent.

University of the Sunshine Coast MBA Course Structure

Students are required to complete 8 core courses plus 4 electives, for a total of 12 courses, from the lists below. Some specialisation areas are available as a part-time study option only.

Core courses cover the fundamentals of accounting, economics, corporate finance, strategic management and marketing. Elective courses are provided in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation management, health sector business management, international business, management, marketing and supply chain management.

 

Entry Requirements

To be considered for admission candidates would normally be required to:

  1. possess an undergraduate degree from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent *
  2. have at least two years relevant full-time equivalent work or other relevant experience; and
  3. candidates whose first language is other than English must demonstrate an appropriate level of English proficiency. Refer to the English language requirements

* Applicants who do not possess an undergraduate degree but have at least 3 years’ relevant full-time equivalent work or other relevant experience may be admitted to the qualifying Graduate Certificate in Business Administration.

Fees

The University of the Sunshine Coast MBA is charged on a per unit basis with each unit in 2017 costing $2,760 per unit. The total degree cost is $35,700.
