The AGSM @ UNSW MBA (Executive) is a part-time MBA program, designed for executives, managers and professionals who are working full-time and eager to accelerate their career growth. The AGSM Executive MBA allows students to harness the power of their collective intelligence through cohort-based learning experiences that are unique to AGSM. Students graduate with a personal and professional network that keeps growing with them.

The AGSM Executive MBA is designed for professionals looking for a blend of online and face-to-face learning, with an emphasis on immersive, experiential learning experiences. It suits those who prefer a structured, interactive program with opportunities for networking and collaboration. One particularly valuable experience that is unique to AGSM’s Executive MBA is the series of residential experiences you’ll complete in your final year. You’ll harness the power of collective strategy and intelligence through three 5-day blocks of immersive, on the-ground learning to support your professional developmen

Course Structure

The AGSM @ UNSW Business School (Executive MBA) is a two stage program. Candidates must successfully complete 8 courses (48 UOC) in Stage 1 before being eligible to progress to Stage 2. An overall weighted average mark (WAM) of 65% or higher across Stage 1 courses qualifies a student for progression to Stage 2 of the MBA (Executive) Program (48 UOC). Stage 2 is comprised of four compulsory intensive residential courses (each 12 UOC) completed over a year.

Entry Requirements

  • A prior degree from a recognised tertiary institution in any discipline with a minimum 2 years relevant professional and management experience, or;
  • A minimum of 6 years relevant professional and management experience without a previous degree.
  • Applicants typically have 5-25 years experience in middle management and senior management positions, e.g. Senior Engineer, General Manager, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Finance Manager.

For international students, a high degree of English language proficiency.
