COURSE PROFILE
The AGSM @ UNSW Business School (Extension MBA) is intended for students in UNSW’s MBA (full-time) who are seeking to extend their study plan to include an additional semester to undertake an internship or research project. The MBA (Extension) is identical to the MBA (full-time) with the addition of an extra session (Extension Session), totaling 120 Units of Credit, and is undertaken over 130 weeks.

The 24-month MBA (Extension) offers an added injection of practical experience to your Full-Time MBA program.
After completion of the courses within the standard 12-month MBA (Full-Time) Program, you will undertake three Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and/or Extension Research Project (ERP) courses over three terms (12 months). For each of these WIL and ERP courses, students will complete an internship or similar, and/or develop an industry research project.
You will further develop your skills and gain valuable, local experience and networks in a management area related to your career aspirations, supported by an academic with relevant experience.
The MBA (Extension) is identical to the MBA (Full-Time) with an additional 48 units of credit to be completed after the Full-Time MBA program. The total program duration is 106 weeks.
To apply for the MBA (Extension) students must first complete the core units of the Full-Time MBA. Please note that direct applications to this program are not accepted.
