Torrens University will be holding an open day in a bid to help future students learn how a Torrens course could potentially lead to a successful future.
The open day will take place on Saturday, April 29 across several states including Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne.
Torrens’ open day will be an opportunity to meet fellow students, lecturers and industry speakers, and each state will provide its own unique guests speakers and activities.
In Sydney, Collective Hub CEO Lisa Messenger will provide an insight into her entrepreneurial journey and any answers students may have about the road to success.
LinkedIn’s Dionne Ellis will also appear in Sydney to speak about elevating career opportunities, by discussing the importance of personal brand as well as sharing tips on networking and job searching on LinkedIn.
The Adelaide open day will feature a panel discussion led by Greg King from Adelaide United Football Club.
Greg King is the High Performance Manager for Adelaide United Football Club (AUFC), and was one of the key people of influence during the club’s A-League 2015/2016 top of the table Premiership Plate and Championship win.
Students who attend the Brisbane open day will learn how to build an online presence through a specialised workshop that will cover building an online presence, establishing goals, creating social media marketing accounts, building a website and how to best engage and interact with a target audience.
Melbourne’s Torrens open day will provide potential students with in-depth presentations about their courses in business, commerce, accounting and project management. Those who attend will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one conversations with industry experienced academics and current students over a free coffee.
Despite their unique schedules, each Torrens University open day across Australia will be an opportunity to tour a Torrens University campus, chat to a course and career advisor and meet current students and find out what student life is really like.
